Andrej Pejic : Rising Star | Year in Review

Andrej Pejic photographed by Damon Baker

Andrej Pejic had his breakout moment last season at Paris Fashion Week for spring/summer 2011. Making an appearance on the catwalk for labels such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Paul Smith, the Australian/Serbian model turned heads with his striking androgynous features. Previously, Andrej had appeared in a couple editorials, most notably in a story for Wonderland. Shortly after, the fall season came and Andrej hit the scene with a whirlwind of editorials, ranging from pieces with Steven Meisel and Mert & Marcus to Willy Vanderperre. A favorite in both magazines for men and women, Andrej became the newcomer to watch and all after a chance agency signing in Australia and trip abroad to London for a major debut in Paris. Next up for the blonde locked wonder is an impressive campaign season with appearances for Marc by Marc Jacobs and appropriately Jean Paul Gaultier.
