Julius Spring 2009

Monday, June 30th, 2008

I’m so thrilled that Julius is beginning to get the recognition it deserves.  The brand had it’s first show in Paris this year.  If we lived in a post-apocalyptic world, I would be disappointed if not everyone dressed like this.  But, until we come to that point, those special individuals can adapt this style and I will give you kudos, because it is most excellent.  Julius has a fan in me.  Maybe one day, I will be able to nab a pair of their famous leggings.

Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2009

Hermes Spring 2009

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Henrik Vibskov Spring 2009

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Henrik Vibskov’s runway presentation has the tendency to make pieces look unwearable, when quite the opposite is true.  This season, I was obsessed with his oversized shirts and dyken shorts.  I don’t recall anything from the fall collection that caught my eye, but I will definitely have to finally buy a coat from the line.  The new cuts are fantastic and the price points so far have been reasonable.
