Spindle [spin-dl] – a device to spin fibers into thread.
Canister [kan-uh-ster] – a small box or jar.

Move on over B.Son.  A new label sporting the some of the best pre-shrunk fabrics has arrived on the California scene.  Just founded this year, spring 2009 marks Spindle & Canister’s second collection.  The label is a lifestyle brand aiming “to create classic pieces with fun details” perfect for the laid back California style.  With this brand, there is more than meets the eye.  Spindle & Canister takes simple basic pieces and incorporates great details such as “hand-painted zipper pulls, mixed wooden buttons, reverse inside-out seams, etc.” Look for Spindle & Canister in a store near you.  You won’t miss it.  They are the brand sold out of the nifty recyclable canisters.

  1. what’s the point of “recyclable” if you are making something that will just be tossed? the idea is cool for giving gifts, but that’s all, it’s just adding cost to the final price of the goods…so unnecessary, seems like just a marketing gimmick to get you to buy the product. The company plaid back, why be stuck in a pretentious box? it doesn’t make sense. if the garment styling is so cool, let the garments speak for itself!

  3. I bought a shirt from the other day at Revolveclothing.com. I actually never realized it came in a canister until I received my shipment. I like the idea of the canister its an added value. I am probably going to use the product for gifting in christmas…ps. product and colors look great..

  5. I actually think it is cool when brands go out of their way to have a so-called gimmick. It makes their product that much more special. I tend to hold on to these type of things. Plainly put, they are just great novelty items. But then again, I hold on to all of my tags too. I do not know why. HELP!

  7. If you’ve worn their stuff, they pay alot of attention to fabric and cuts. Real simple stuff with a slight twist. Can’t say anything wrong. Definately high end.
