Commonwealth Utilities Fall 2009

Commonwealth Utilities is the dream label of friends and new business partners Anthony Keegan and Richard Christiansen. As founder of the Chandelier Creative Design Agency, Christiansen brings his experience in business to the label, while Keegan, a Central St. Martins graduate designs with “the idea of making men smart, sexy, and a little bit fabulous.” Following their debut collection, fall 2009 treads the line between a sense of rugged masculinity and an exploration of shapes and silhouettes. While pieces like the trench coat are soundly executed, the collection really excels when it moves outside the realm of normalcy with pieces like the boxy knit or Sherwood Kimono.

  1. Haha, love the tee!
Doesn’t fit with any of the other clothing, but that’s amazing!

Am I the only one who thinks the guy with the beard pulls off some strange poses?

  2. I think he comes off as the most masculine, but is pulling some effeminate poses.
