Light and airy, sheer neutral based tanks represent an innocence and feeling of bareness that stands in great contrast to the collection’s darker, more intense pieces. Safety and grim solace are found in Petrov’s monochromatic black garments, while a bold and fiery passion is brought to the surface with the collection’s red trousers and infrequent splatters of blood. Despite Petrov’s use of black and red, attention is often drawn back to the collection’s most honest pieces–the heavenly mix of white, light gray, aqua and green.
