Gaspard Yurkievich Spring 2010

Inspired by the Americana motif and America’s west coast, designer Gaspard Yurkievich’s most recent collection uses blue, red and white to play to our senses of leisure and merriment. V-neck blazers give the appearance of boxy lapels, while sculpted shoulders reference the all-American jock. Stripes and button down flies continue the collection’s youthful zest, while slim fitting above the ankle trousers lends the selection a preppy quality. Altogether, Yurkievich’s efforts do not go unnoticed, resulting in another quirky, but wearable collection from the Parisian designer.
