Always concerned with how garments function in relationship to nature’s elements, Göran Sundberg’s latest fascination is AirDown, “a new technology, based on the idea of creating insulating layers of air.” Created as a material that works in the same capacity as goose down, AirDown works around an adjustable layer of air that maintains heat and protects against moisture. Sundberg has built upon this idea with a collection of four jackets that offer a lighter alternative to typical outerwear, while also providing versatility in the form of detachable hoods and sleeves.
