Bag Talk | T Michael

Written by Carl on Friday, November 6th, 2009 | 2009, collections

Last week, we introduced new Bergen-based label Norwegian Rain, a joint collaboration between graphic design studio Grandpeople, bespoke tailor/designer T Michael and founder/creative director Alexander Helle. Today, we have news from T Michael on his latest venture–a small range of bags. After picking up additional skills in relation to the production of shoes, T Michael decided to try his luck at bags that are both functional and attractive. The results include the Singer Getaway, which is modeled after a vintage sewing machine. The smart bag includes detachable straps, a convertible hardtop and a champagne carrier. Alternatively, the Office Carrier is the perfect everyday bag, whether used for a laptop or your personal belongings. Both bags were designed in Skostredet, handcrafted in Portugal and made out of vegetable tanned leather. Available in three colors; British racing green, Oxblood and Ebony, the bags are available in T Michael’s Norway stores and will be on his website for sale next week.
