Photographer Steven Chu shares a recent shoot he did with Will Lewis that includes two outtakes. Set in New York, Chu wanted to explore the “idea of ending–things ending, people ending. There’s a sort of peace to it after the tension.” Intentionally hiding visuals that would indicate the shoot’s actual location, Chu aimed for a more abstract shoot, where Will worked out great. According to Chu, “Will was great because he brought a lot” leaving them with less to say themselves. The “shoot only works with Will–swap it with any other guy and visually it [would] take on a completely different meaning.”
