Rei Kawakubo allows the usual play on patterns to take a backseat this season as the Comme des Garçons man bundles up for a cold fall. Crafting a uniform winning look, wrinkled fabrics and corduroy make for the casual outing as suiting finds itself broken into oversized shorts layered with relaxed jackets and trousers. With the small exception of spontaneous bursts of color provided by accessories, the general color palette is subdued–showcasing a new modesty for the Comme des Garçons man.
