Steven Chu’s recent shoot with Yuri Pleskun and Nicole Erber followed the young couple of the future as they came together to procreate–the results of their efforts being a black encrusted baby designed by couture milliner Heather Huey. An outlandish product of the far deconstruction of the world as we know it, Chu shares an additional shot of the perfect bath and play time doll.
Recent topics have been absent of Vogue Hommes Japan as the magazine preps their next issue, but the gears begin to roll again as they share a behind the scenes look at their time in Paris for fashion week, which finds the likely candidates like Robbie Wadge and Cole Mohr in front of the camera.

Bastiaan Ninaber works in an industry, where he has been fortunate enough to meet people from all over the world and forge long-lasting friendships. He explained that “it’s always good to do a job on your own” since you get more pictures. However, “it’s more fun to do it with some other guys.” Especially, since a great deal of the guys he works with, he also knows very well as friends, so “it’s nice to do something together.” Typically, runway season provides the perfect opportunity for the guys to get together. It’s hectic backstage with “lots of people screaming and photographers trying to take a good shot”, but the guys keep their cool and enjoy each others company. And to answer who Bastiaan keeps as company, he shared “there are a lot of guys who I like, but the ones I most hang out with are Johnatan, Jeremy, Josh, Lenz, Mark, Taylor and George.”
