The latest collection from Cav-000 is not necessarily provocative, but there is an element about its laid-back style that exudes a refined sense of carelessness. From semi-fitted monochromatic looks that revel in casualness to the modern suit that exhibits great youthfulness, Cav-000 achieves the perfect balance of style, practicality and relevance.

U-NI-TY Fall 2010 | Alexandre Cunha

Inspired by Ken Loach’s film The Wind That Shakes The Barley, U-NI-TY looked to Irish resistance to fuel fall’s collection. Embracing the 30’s and providing their “classy hobo” with a relaxed militaristic look, wools and flannels were broken in for a slightly baggy finish. Dressed in earthy hues, U-NI-TY’s man walks a modest path for fall, but manages to make what was once old, refreshingly simple and new again.
Fall 2010 | Fernando Korpi

While Finland-based designer Fernando Korpi may have looked to Roetzel Bernhard’s book entitled Gentleman–A Timeless Guide to Fashion for his fall collection, the range reveals a pleasant mix of sportswear and contemporary garments. From the slightly elongated shirt and slim silhouette to casual streetwear, Korpi paints the season with great personality and color, blending a certain humor with a casual easygoing spirit.
Fall 2010 | Gemma Slack

Having worked with designer Gareth Pugh and inspired by unorthodox materials, it is no surprise that Gemma Slack’s venture into menswear disrupts the norm. The London-based designer reveals a provocative collection of midriff baring tops that rebel against the season’s cold. While slim pants may require careful calorie counting, somewhat normal garments find themselves pulled into Slack’s world with a subtle leather trim that strangely enough adds a soft touch. Altogether, a little challenging, but easier to dissect as the result of art inspired fashion, Gemma Slack’s adventure into menswear provides another outlet for that special daredevil.
EHUD Fall 2010 | Sander by Sharon Mor Yosef

Sharon Mor Yosef photographs Sander of RePublic Men for the debut collection of designer Ehud Joseph. Like a majority of designers, Joseph put in time working for others, before deciding to venture out on his own for the upcoming season. Crafting his first collection, he was inspired by the fictitious transition of a man leaving behind the line of duty for the life of a civilian. Strong on structure, the range takes shape around outerwear and semi-formal garments that are quite masculine. Stern, but relaxed, fall’s collection sets the tone for a finely tuned execution of practical menswear.
