Fashion: Low End Rising?

Written by Carl on Monday, August 4th, 2008 | 2008, Fall 2008, fall, gap

Lately, I’ve been fascinated by the number of low end brands attempting to revamp their image and make the move towards high street.  H&M has a new men’s trend line, Urban Outfitters has ongoing collaborations with Steven Alan, Corpus, and B.Son, just to name a few, and now the Gap has a new collection arriving in stores that shows an attempt at keeping up with the times.  If that is not enough, they having an upcoming limited shoe collaboration with Piere Hardy.  I think this move is great.  As much as I like high street and fashion, the price can be a little much sometimes.  Affordable alternatives are definitely appreciated.

On a side note, I love this cardigan from the Gap and might just have to order it!
