Josh Beech and Robbie Wadge take to their home turf to support the latest collection from Greek designer Ioannis Dimitrousis. Known for his knitwear, Dimitrousis took a subtle departure this season, showcasing a simple shirt and pair of trousers alongside his more racy sequined mesh number. Trip to the beach anyone? With no time to waste, the focus shifts from New York Fashion Week to London Fashion Week. Enter Greek born designer Ioannis Dimitrousis. Dimitrousis graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2005. Working with his mother, Dimitrousis uses knitwear to create fashion that embodies a sense of individuality. The fall 2009 collection revolves around wittingly tattered sweaters that best invoke an image of a scarecrow.  The collection is complete with the addition of severe narrow shoulders and metallic accents that contribute to a look that is futuristic, but of organic origins.

Custom Clothes on eBay for Charity

Written by Carl on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 | 2008, News, bjork & mcelligott, ca4la, carolyn massey, deryck walker, edward sexton, ioannia dimitrousis, j.w. anderson, omar kashoura, peckham rye, spring

Susie @ Style Bubble posted about a neat project that Guy @ Fashion156 has started. Guy managed to get together a few distinguished designers to submit an article or two of clothing custom painted. The items have been put up on eBay and 100% of the proceeds for each item will go to the charity of the designer’s choice. The pieces are pictured below and absolutely amazing.

I added text to the pictures, but they are originally from Fashion156.
