As always, United Colors of Benetton outfits their man for many facets of life. While their Jacko theme provides for lazy tees and relaxed trousers for the man who just got off work, Another Part of Me focuses on the season at hand with light materials and more than a handful of shorts. Meanwhile, Man in the Mirror showcases sporty technical pieces that take on nature’s various elements. Finally, Bad addresses the younger, hipper man with attitude-inspired garments that feature a much desired worn-in feature.

United Colors of Benetton Fall 2008

There are three things I like about this collection: 1) The colored pants; specifically the burgundy pair.  I’m not to crazy about colored pants, but I love that more designers are embracing burgundy this season.  Such a rich color. 2) The use of tweed; such a classic material that looks great when layering.  3) Interesting head wear.
