The seasons may be slow to change, but when it comes to the world of fashion, it is always on to what is next. Broken in and all encompassing, this is an honest collection–what you see is what you get. From cuffed shorts to cropped jackets and the denim shirt, Won Hundred gives off a relaxed vibe that evokes images of romanticized country life. Always reliable, the Danish label offers versatility with its easygoing range that serves up contemporary pieces like the 3/4 sleeve tee alongside timeless standards like the crisp white dress shirt.  Until the spring release, which is sure to coincide with another stellar lookbook, we have the fall collection to fawn over.

Won Hundred Fall 2009

Written by Carl on Friday, July 31st, 2009 | 2009, fall, fall 2009, lookbooks/presentations, marko brozic, won hundred

Denmark-based Won Hundred is the prime example of a label who approaches traditional menswear with an infectious charisma that results in sophisticated progressions that provide options without overindulgence. Taking to subtle shifts in details and proportions, designer Nikolaj Nielsen works tirelessly to update staples, while balancing a notion of accessibility with what is current. For fall 2009, Won Hundred’s signature aesthetic continues to get more relaxed. By letting out jackets and trousers, the collection becomes more free flowing with a worker’s vibe. The proportions are slightly oversize on outerwear, but kept within the realms of practicality. From the boxy wool coat to the slouchy cardigan, the range offers clothes that are timeless. The collection overall is the extension of any solid wardrobe–it’s safe, comforting and there for all occasions.

Won Hundred Spring 2009

Picturesque. Here is another collection from fashion hot-spot Denmark. In their latest collection, the relatively new label Won Hundred is back with the basic pieces every man needs in their wardrobe.  Cut with impeccable taste, this collection’s strength rests with outerwear.  The outerwear in this collection embraces the modern non-formfitting silhouette prevalent in many of today’s leading collections.  Also — Not to go unnoticed is the long shirt tails, which add a subtle and unexpected element of distinguishable style.  Prepare to buy and be picture-ready at a moment’s notice.
