Copenhagen Fashion Week | Wood Wood Fall 2010

Written by Carl on Sunday, February 21st, 2010 | 2010, Eddie Klint, Runway, copenhagen fashion week, fall, fall 2010, johannes linder, wood wood

Taking to a lived-in approach for their most recent collection, the latest from Wood Wood plays house to fall’s rich earthy hues. Almost a careless afterthought, save for the collection’s quiet confidence, the range pairs varied proportions together for a casual walkthrough of menswear essentials. From an infectious printed knit to a voluminous parka, Wood Wood’s fall outing is accompanied by both a vintage feel and youthful excitement.

Woodwood | Paul Boche by Müller-Brunke

Written by Carl on Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 | 2009, editorial, paul boche, wood wood

Featured in the current issue of Lurve magazine, Wood Wood’s fall 2009 collection gets a workout by none other than Paul Boche. Photographed by Daniela Müller-Brunke with grooming by Tobias Sagner and styling by Jessica Klimach, Paul lends the nonchalant collection an element of rebellion.

Fall 2009 | Wood Wood

Wood Wood’s humble fall lookbook gives us another look at their current collection, which is now in stores. The range effectively blends an earthy workwear vibe with an urban approach for a collection of moderately sized proportions. Along the way, the Danish label also finds a way to incorporate humor, breaking up the monotony of formal wear for a cheeky take on the city’s version of a gentleman.

Wood Wood Spring 2010

Written by Carl on Saturday, August 8th, 2009 | 2009, 2010, Runway, copenhagen fashion week, spring, spring 2010, wood wood

Wood Wood’s spring offering is simple. Bearing a nonchalant attitude, it’s about leisure and comfort. Although straightforward, the collection still works overtime bridging different aesthetics. At times, the collection approaches smart relaxed looks with the ultimate finesse, letting out the suit and pairing it with a quirky tee. However, the range also incorporates a healthy amount of denim alongside nylon windbreakers for a sporty resort look. Awkwardly enough, the collection’s two aesthetics coexist in harmony offering enough diversity for the range to be more about the wearer than the pieces themselves. And after all, is that not what fashion is all about?

Wood Wood Spring 2009

Written by Carl on Monday, May 11th, 2009 | 2009, Spring 2009, lookbooks/presentations, spring, wood wood

Nautical in nature, the current Wood Wood collection draws upon the common motif without much risk. Navy, white and gray with hints of red dress a collection of safe basics. However, saddle shoes make a smart companion to many of the collection’s looks, while flowers make an interesting and unexpected appearance. Simple and uncomplicated, the collection is suited for the man who wants to remain stylish without all the fuss.
