Fall 2010 | Marc Jacobs

A playful mix of quirky proportions and serious colors take the latest Marc Jacobs collection by storm. Fashion Week by Berns | Cheap Monday Fall ‘10

With an apocalypse in mind, Cheap Monday’s fall 2010 showing included a somber sea of black and gray, as the label played it safe with their signature snug fit. Keeping it ultra-casual with boat-necks, tonal patched sweatshirts and conservative outerwear, designer Ann-Sofie Back relied on Cheap Monday’s short history and a fondness for knits to get her minimal point across.
VMAN | How to Make a Getaway by Hasse Nielsen

Hitting newsstands this Thursday, the seventeenth issue of VMAN looks to Hasse Nielsen to capture a fine group of models in flight. Styled by Robert Rydberg, the shoot depends on Mathias Lauridsen, Adrian Bosch, Veneda, Charlotte Hoyer, Mathias Bergh, Linnea Ahlman, Mikaela Carlen and Lasse Pedersen to convey a stylish sense of urgency.
Paris Fashion Week | Lanvin Fall 2010

Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz explained that the latest collection from the French fashion house took its inspirations from the street, looking to the style of everyday people for motivation. Developing this theme, designer Lucas Ossendrijver turned to a smart mix of both low-key and luxe pieces. Balancing the fitted with the relaxed, the collection looked to slouchy knits, lived-in trousers, functional outerwear and cinched waists for a subtle wardrobe update. Rounded out in a primary color palette with a hint of autumn, the collection is deserving of praise for its construction and effortless silhouettes.
