Often dressed with a refreshing apt for an effortless cool taken from the thrift stores of the day, the range takes its muses from the films of Jim Jarmusch (Permanent Vacation) and Ulli Lommel (Blank Generation). Fusing subtle patterns and colors with dramatic relaxed proportions, whether small or large, a nostalgic charm takes designer Jay Sabatino’s collection far.
Leading the pack, new talent Harvey Haydon is joined by Ty Akintayo and Isaac Carew for Firetrap’s spring 2010 campaign. The image of youth, the trio ready for an evening of havoc.
Generra’s newest creative team Swaim and Christina Hutson decided to infuse the season with color. Dopey and upbeat, the collection sought to take the ordinary and lend it a new lease on life. A ball of quirks unravelled, the Hutsons offered everything from a daring jumpsuit and grandpa cardigan to straight-laced workwear. Proving that you do not have break the mold to have a little fun, the range ensures an electrifying season come fall, whether bundled in a coat or dressed in a striking suit.
