Leaving behind the romantic grace of last season, John Rocha approaches dark territory with a wild deconstruction of suiting and outerwear. Juxtaposing relaxed tailoring with loosely draped fabrics, Rocha rebels against the traditional structure of menswear in preference of a season that calls for a sophistication that is a little raw around the edges.
Unable to focus this season’s inspirations, Paul Smith decided on the next best course of action–return to his roots. Thinking back to his days of creating clothes for musicians, Smith decided on a varied range with pieces for rock-minded men of all ages. From nostalgic knickers, a wide spectrum of suiting and an asymmetrical cape to plaid punk numbers, Smith turned out yet another exciting show of balanced color and proportion.
Walking to the sound of their own beat, Julius works within their own context, progressing a fall season that is darker than last. With their faces obstructed by dramatic bangs, Julius’ models course the runway in meticulous draping, treated leather and bold skin-baring silhouettes that defy the season’s functional staples.
