Styled by Claire Richardson, Lenz Von Johnston, Bastiaan Ninaber and Julien Sabaud take to the beach for photographer Josh Olins’ editorial entitled “Into the Wild”. Featured in the current issue of Man About Town, the trio find themselves clad in voluminous proportions that are not complete without an appearance by this season’s true editorial star–Prada.

Spring 2010 | Spurr

Written by Carl on Friday, September 11th, 2009 | 2009, 2010, Julien Sabaud, arthur daniyarov, bastiaan ninaber, douglas neitzke, garrett neff, gerhard freidl, jeremy dufour, johannes linder, jonatan frenk, lookbooks/presentations, louis prades, new york fashion week, patrick kafka, simon nessman, spring, spring 2010, spurr, thiago santos, ty akintayo, vladimir ivanov

Surveying time with a nostalgic interest in elegance, designer Simon Spurr was drawn to the sixties as a source of inspiration for his spring collection. With great ease and finesse, Spurr did not shy away from luxury, instead embracing suiting as an integral element of fashion. Central to the collection, well-tailored suiting is the foundation that other pieces are built upon. Not afraid of color, Spurr incorporates warm yellows and corals among denim based blues for a dapper quality. Breaking up suiting for versatility and everyday wear, fitted denim makes a sound impression–particularly in white. It highlights the collection’s simple approach to style and elegance. The lines are clean, the colors diverse and the execution timeless. Spurr might have drawn from the past for inspiration, but the end result is quite current and fitting of the times.

june 24th – 10:30am: second day of casting for the masatomo ss10 show…

most of the guys who went to milan took the last flight or the night train yesterday and they are now in town, but surprisingly the day is starting quite slowly…since the shows are kicking off tomorrow i assume lots of the guys who only just got back had plenty of fittings to do or last minute call-backs; unless they’re all hanging around with madonna ;-) ! lol

thank god the hotel’s corridor didn’t remain empty for very long and the line started to get considerably consequent…here are the boys!

Paris Fashion Week – Ford Has Landed

Written by Carl on Friday, June 5th, 2009 | 2009, 2010, Eddie Klint, Julien Sabaud, adrian bosch, hauke, julian hennig, lasse pedersen, marcel castenmiller, mathias bergh, mathias lauridsen, nils butler, paris fashion week, roman ivancic, show package, simon nessman, spring, spring 2010, ty akintayo, vladimir ivanov, wendell lissimore

Is it possible for one agency to have too much star power? Well if it is, Ford Models comes so close, it should be a crime. Ford Models brings Paris Fashion Week some of the most recognized faces of male modeling. Mathias, Eddie, Nils, Simon, Marcel…the list goes on and on and chances are most of them will be hitting the runways countless times. Stompfest is CLOSER.
