It’s a nonchalant day spent in the sun for Iceberg’s latest campaign star Michael Elmquist. Snagged for the Ice spring 2010 campaign, Michael delivers performance of angst for this season’s modest outing.
Mixing suiting and streetwear, DKNY gets in touch with their urban side this season. Dark and somber, the collection bundles up for fall’s initial cold, looking to quilting and mountain boots to set the tone. Meanwhile, pleated trousers are slightly baggy and suitable for all occassions, not only giving DKNY’s man a city edge, but a modern grace. Effortlessly dressed head to toe, fall’s collection hits the right note for both the style aficionado and the everyday man.
Opening Ceremony is off to an early start this year releasing the first part of their fall 2010 lookbook to coincide with their trip overseas to market the collection. Inspired by modern French youth, the range encompasses a relaxed sophistication, ranging from simple nautical stripes and speckled two-piece suits to comfortable flannel numbers.
The most recent feature to be revealed on Visual Tales features the latest collection from Life|After|Denim alongside a question and answer with the label’s co-founder Alexis Frey. Showcased in a dynamic environment with photography by Colin Angus, Michael Elmquist is styled by John Tan and given an extra edge with the help of makeup artist Georgi Sandev.
Opening Ceremony pulls out all the bells and whistles to present their upcoming spring 2010 collection. Calling on photographer David Benjamin Sherry and Michael Elmquist, we are given a lively first look at their range styled by Benjamin Sturgill. Here a whimsical mixing of textures and prints is met by another portion of garments that are made vulnerable by a muted color palette. From soft pocket tees and cuffed shorts to shoe-lace cinched waists, the boyish collection is not devoid of options. Furthermore, the season captivates with a diverse offering of stylish footwear that takes into account everything from sandals to ankle boots.
