Spring’s most prominent face when it comes to campaigns, Major’s Simon Nessman takes a break from the usual glamour and has a little fun with his shoot styled by Long Nguyen and photographed by Taghi Naderzad. Snarling or puckering, Simon is a model of many faces.
Crafted from necessity and styled with an understated sophistication, the latest menswear collection from Elie Tahari treads a careful narrative of blacks and grays. Taking to a tonal play of geometric shapes, the range moves functional all-occasion outerwear, when it is not aggressively pursuing sleek tailored suiting. Altogether enveloping a modest sense of luxury, the Elie Tahari man balances a modern confidence with a refined affection for the classics.
There is never a moment of rest for top model Simon Nessman who adds a couple commercial projects to his large array of spring 2010 campaigns. Whether taking a serious pause for Victorinox or having a silly moment for department store Macy’s, Simon always gives it his all.
Suiting up for next season’s cold, Michael Kors no doubt put the luxury in fashion, crafting a rich collection of camel hues that placed his man at the wealthiest of ski resorts. Loosely draped with ease, wrinkled fabrics provided the collection with a casual authenticity, while functionally chic outerwear and accessories set the tone. Altogether, a smart blending of classic garments with contemporary silhouettes resulted in a collection that set Kors apart from his peers.
Jeremy Scott is most notably known for his flamboyant designs and while he never fails to deliver on this quality, somehow this season finds a rhythm that in his world is quite accessible. Finding a stride with baggy leather pants, semi-regular proportions cloak jackets, knits and sweatshirts that rely on their finish for character. Embracing gems and jewels for a colorful motif, Scott’s fall outing is outlandish, but refreshing in that it manages to show some form of restraint.
