Exposed and vulnerable or cast in the shadows, Robbie Wadge and Zdenek Zaboj are Jolijn Snijders’ latest subjects. Whether wide-eyed or precocious, it is no surprise that Snijders draws out the highly personal side of both Robbie and Zdenek.

Shooting regularly with several of the industry’s leading talents, Jolijn Snijders has a sound perspective on first impressions after her candid encounters. Reflecting on current model of the month Yuri Pleskun, Snijders shared, “Yuri looks like he walked straight off a Larry Clark movie set. He was someone who I’ve been looking for a long time, just a boy with a real cool attitude, being completely himself, not really caring about how he looks in the photos, always up for some crazy stuff and laughs, which makes him a perfect subject for me.”

Usually cast to play the quintessential angel, William Eustace takes a day off to provide a more rounded performance for Jolijn Snidjers. Shooting with her once more, William goofs around, but still provides a glimpse of the moody persona that reveals itself in much of his work.
