If this upcom­ing fall’s black dom­i­nated color palette has you down, turn to no other than Bot­tega Veneta for a rich, col­or­ful spring ret­ro­spec­tive. Start­ing off with muted shades of brown, the col­lec­tion sur­pris­ingly takes a jour­ney through berry tones, mosses, corals and deep burnt reds before trail­ing off with pig­mented pur­ples and blues. The style wheel is not rein­vented, but Bot­tega Veneta offers just the right pieces to get the sea­son started; relaxed jog­ging style trousers, the col­le­giate jacket, tye dies, rich prints, sheer knits and even a hint of but­tery soft light-​​weight leather. If you’re look­ing for some­thing a bit dif­fer­ent for the sea­son, take note of the blaz­ers and their nar­row pinched shoul­ders.
