Brioni Spring/Summer 2014 Campaign–Model Julien Nielsen returns for another season with Brioni, starring in the Italian label’s spring/summer 2014 campaign. Photographed by American photographer Collier Schorr, Julien is captured against the backdrop of Rome’s Villa Medici. The new campaign follows the inspiration of Brioni’s spring/summer 2014 collection which was inspired by the Eternal City and its rich art heritage. Modeled after the lighting of French film director François Truffaut in the film La Nuit Americaine, “a process whereby the sequences shot outdoors are underexposed to look as if they were filmed at night” was explored. Brioni creative director Brendan Mullane adds “The images captured are part of an accurate artistic study. It is not just a person posing in front of a camera, but a celebration of the expression of the beauty.”
