Chris & Tibor Fall 2009

Fea­tur­ing mod­els Moritz Meyer, Marko Brozic, Isaac Carew and Rory Tor­rens, the lat­est col­lec­tion from Lon­don based design duo Chris & Tibor was shot by famed pho­tog­ra­pher Kai Z Feng. The fall col­lec­tion titled, “The Krays Meet Teddy Boys” is inspired by the noto­ri­ous Kray twins who became infa­mous dur­ing the 1960s as part of London’s “swing­ing” scene. Ama­teur box­ers turned crime lead­ers, the duo became celebri­ties in their own right by virtue of their chain of night­clubs. With the Krays as muse, Chris & Tibor have turned out a cutting-​​edge col­lec­tion of prairie, dot and patent leather bags that embrace a color palette of black, blue, red and gray. Mov­ing out­side the typ­i­cal, Chris & Tibor also uti­lize oiled birth feather fab­rics as well as rave hi-​​fi techno film mate­ri­als. The result is a selec­tion of bags so luxe, it should be a crime.
