A Brush with Darkness–Trimapee enlists photographer Mariah Jelena to shoot their latest campaign, featuring Six Wolves model Cody Bayliss. Outfitting Cody, Trimapee designers Mario-Luca Carlucci and Peter Strateas capture the feeling of comatose with a sterile focus on fabric and the life it inhibits. From silk voile and cashmere to virgin wool, lengthened proportions come together with sharp lines, juxtaposed with draped silhouettes. A dark vision with a hint of color, Trimapee’s man comes forth with a somber romance, shaped by modernity.
