Second Nature–Chris Brown ventures outdoors for VBN’s fall/winter 2012 outing. Heading to the beach, the new collection takes its inspiration from a fusion of historical marine surplus and the Pacific Northwest waterman. Fleshing out accessible pieces in earthy hues, wool sweaters, flannels, denim and other garments come together for a showing that makes for quite the sensible fall.

Calming Mode–Styled by Hideyuki Hayashi, a pale Martin Lekić appears before the lens of Hisashi Ogawa for the fall/winter 2012 lookbook of Japanese label Liberum Arbitrium. Draping wool, gauze and cotton, Liberum Arbitrium works with a clean color palette, accented by a chic gradient. Boasting billowing lines and layered fabrics, loose-fitting tops as well as expanding trousers are paired with the occasional structured blazer for a sound fall outing. / Grooming by Ina.

Playing It Cool–Japanese label Jointrust paints a cool picture for the fall/winter 2012 season. Enlisting photographer Ogawa and stylist Hideyuki Hayashi for the season’s lookbook, model Martin Lekić stands at attention for the sherpa trimmed outing. Featuring an eye for detail and a knack for layered proportions, varying lengths lend the collection its edge. Here boxy tops and oversize shirting are met with tapered pants for a modern tryst of great character. / Makeup by Masako Inayoshi.

The Natural Inclination–His third collection, American designer Todd Snyder creates comfortable sportswear that mixes casual essentials with more formal pieces for the perfect adaptive wardrobe. On the textured front, wools, tweeds and speckled knits are served up in an earthy color palette while distressed denim is juxtaposed with semi-fitted trousers, some boasting cargo pockets. In addition to a smart offering of shirting, ideal for occasions with or without a tie, the collection is rounded out by sharp outerwear, ranging from the tailored trench coat to the mid-length overcoat.

Leather Goods–Models Baptiste Radufe and Benjamin Eidem both take on the dusk color-scheme that Belstaff has produced to suit the fall/winter 2012 season. The Request boys don leather trousers, reptilian jackets and form-fitting knit pullovers among leather duffels as they are clad from head to toe in buckskin looks.

Autumn Debut–Hailing from Seoul, Korea, Zero_Underscore debuts their premier fall/winter 2012 collection. Taking aim at the modern standard, tailored pieces are produced with leather inserts, cut-away construction and a keen attention to proportion. Dressed in black and gray, sharp suiting separates form the basis of a line, finished with fantastic outerwear, ranging from double-breasted overcoats to zippered jackets.
