Inosculation–Combining the sensibility of a farmer’s uniform with that of the military, Korean designer Cy Choi creates the ultimate hybrid of two worlds for his eponymous label’s fall 2011 collection. To break down the barrier between formal and casual, the collection is executed with contrasting constructions and a manipulation of color. The process of inosculation continues in the silhouette with fitted jackets and oversized trousers in mix-and-match fabrications.
