Editorial Exclusive | Baby Dust Starring Yuri Pleskun & Nicole Erber by Steven Chu

Sur­re­al­ism meets the dig­i­tal age when pho­tog­ra­pher Steven Chu tack­les the issue of pro­cre­ation in the future. Cast­ing Yuri Pleskun and Nicole Erber as a cou­ple of tomor­row, the norm evolves and a lit­tle baby dust goes a long way.

After work­ing with Yuri for last season’s Rad Hourani run­way show, styl­ist Marc Sifuentes had noth­ing but great things to say about the expe­ri­ence and was thrilled to work with him again for Steven Chu’s lat­est edi­to­r­ial. Chu recalls not know­ing much about Yuri before the shoot, but walked away with com­pli­ments, express­ing, “Yuri is awe­some and I would hands down cast him for another pho­to­shoot — maybe because he’s a pretty sea­soned model now, he’s com­pletely com­fort­able in front of the cam­era and you can eas­ily cap­ture what you want from him. You know what’s great though– is that his out­takes of funny faces when he’s goof­ing around on test shots are so good on their own, you could make a whole shoot out of them!”
