Mr. by Roland Mouret Spring 2012 | Paris Fashion Week

Mov­ing Lines–Bil­low­ing sil­hou­ettes in a great array of col­ors stole the show for Mr. by Roland Mouret’s spring 2012 out­ing, where the trouser reigned supreme. Paired with more fit­ted tops, the lineup was kept sim­ple with soft neu­trals accented by bright bursts of color, whether in canary yel­low or cobalt blue. Alto­gether, trans­lat­ing the rich­ness of the sev­en­ties into a wear­able col­lec­tion that included the likes of belted safari jack­ets, sleeve­less knits and dou­ble breasted blaz­ers, the man of Mr. by Roland Mouret achieved a chic fin­ish with an impres­sive taste for simplicity.

Under­stated Cool–Paul Smith’s man heads back to planet earth for the spring 2012 sea­son with a chic new atti­tude. Fit­ted and tai­lored, the lat­est col­lec­tion dresses a sophis­ti­cated stan­dard in color blocked hues. From snug cardi­gan and slim trousers to semi-​​relaxed jack­ets, Paul Smith man­ages to find a relaxed pac­ing. How­ever, run­ning head to head with ath­letic aspi­ra­tions, spring’s refine­ment finds a casual nov­elty in bright lay­ers, reversed nylon out­er­wear and finally, a cool sea of blue.
