Gilded Para­noia–Gra­ham Lott joins forces with cre­ative agency Boyce & Brown to pro­duce a short film fea­tur­ing the fall 2011 col­lec­tion of New York-​​based label Gilded Age. Star­ring Nathaniel Brown of Enter the Void, the short is pro­pelled by his­tory, link­ing past and future, recon­sid­er­ing the flight of patriot Joseph Lloyd from Long Island fol­low­ing a British seizure.

A Mod­ern Touch–An alumni of Bel­gian school The Royal Acad­emy of Fine Arts, Six Lee fol­lows a move to Lon­don and work at Alexan­der McQueen with a col­lec­tion for the 2012 sea­son. Inspired by the hypnopom­pic state of con­scious­ness, the new sea­son is met with no short­age of an imag­i­na­tion. Jux­ta­pos­ing a dream­scape with an attempt to rec­on­cile with the real world, Six Lee crafts a range of sharp cuts and mod­ern pro­por­tions. From pan­eled jack­ets and tra­di­tional ele­ments such as the lapel replaced with a visual rep­re­sen­ta­tion, the col­lec­tion excites the senses with tra­di­tion spun into a search for the future.
