Local Inspiration–For their fall/winter 2013 collection, GANT Rugger explores the local culture, looking to the people closest to them, their customers, and those that inspire them. Titled, “Brooklyn Luxe,” the collection was introduced with a celebration of food and fashion at NYC’s West Village’s One if by Land, Two if by Sea. At the event, the brand also announced their future partnerships with Brooklyn-based The Sussman Brothers, Kings County Distillery and The Brooklyn Salsa Company. The clothes themselves reflected the nostalgic elements of home, including a contrast baseball jacket, cable-knit sweaters, and quilted blazers in deep navies and muted shades for a line that tapped into the heritage classic styles of the label.
