Harrison Ford is the January/February 2016 cover star for Men’s Journal. Discussing playing Han Solo in the beloved Star Wars franchise, Ford shares, “What I identified with in Han Solo is that he’s the one character in the films who when they start talking about the Force, he’d say, ‘What? Huh? Come on!’ I identified with that as an actor and as a human being. That was my reality context through the whole thing.”

Talking about his early dreams of being an actor, Ford confesses, “I wanted to be a character actor. I never thought I was going to end up being whatever it is a leading man is. The first time I was onstage, it was a college production of Thornton Wilder’s The Skin of Our Teeth and I was Mr. Antrobus with a pillow tucked into a suit way too big for me and talcum powder in my hair. Nobody knew who I was. I was excited to be somebody else.
