It might not be the most inno­v­a­tive spring col­lec­tion, but Her­mès hits a home run with their unex­pected, but win­ning color com­bi­na­tion of brown and gray. Think­ing of the man on vaca­tion, Her­mès designer Veronique Nichan­ian deliv­ered on a ready-​​to-​​wear range of relaxed clas­sics. Spruced up by the French design house in eas­ily acces­si­ble col­ors, the col­lec­tion was styled with sharp scarves and sub­tle prints, while light open-​​weave knits, slouchy tanks and tees were topped off with the collection’s sig­na­ture belt. All-​​inclusive, the col­lec­tion is smart in that it fills a lux­u­ri­ous void for basics with val­ued longevity, while still remain­ing ultra-​​chic.
