With no time to waste, the focus shifts from New York Fashion Week to London Fashion Week. Enter Greek born designer Ioannis Dimitrousis. Dimitrousis graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2005. Working with his mother, Dimitrousis uses knitwear to create fashion that embodies a sense of individuality. The fall 2009 collection revolves around wittingly tattered sweaters that best invoke an image of a scarecrow. The collection is complete with the addition of severe narrow shoulders and metallic accents that contribute to a look that is futuristic, but of organic origins.
