Jean-Luc’s Casting Call Diaries | Paris Fashion Week Day 1

paris fash­ion week is nearly here and all the mod­els have gath­ered in town for cast­ings before head­ing to milan fash­ion week and com­ing back to paris on time for the shows …
since a cou­ple of days already i kept see­ing mod­els every­where in the metro and the streets until this morn­ing when i sud­denly had the idea to play some kind of paparazzo and fol­low the guys going from cast­ings to cast­ings to make some sort of photo report, an exclu­sive ‘behind the scenes’ story at the men’s paris fash­ion week cast­ings for the fash­ion­isto ! i imme­di­ately phoned some friends at one of the paris model agen­cies and got the list of cast­ings for the day; by that time i had unfor­tu­nately already missed the oppor­tu­nity to spot the guys at yves saint lau­rent and louis vuit­ton, but
mugler, lan­vin and cer­ruti were still pos­si­ble tar­gets for my 1st day of model ‘hunt­ing’ …
after a cou­ple of hours walk­ing between the dif­fer­ent cast­ing places, wait­ing for my preys to show up, the result was quite sat­is­fy­ing with some of the biggest names from the inter­na­tional run­ways and mag­a­zines such as jacob coupe, arthur dani­yarov, alexan­der johans­son, mar­cel cas­ten­miller, harry wake­field, paul boche, mat gor­don, linus gustin, james smith, benoni loos, ty akin­tayo, jakob hyb­holt, johannes lin­der etc, along with new faces las­zlo ric­cia­rdi, sascha weis­senborn, corentin renault, ollie greb or seb amongst others …
