I will never get why collections are released that are out of sync with the season they are intended for, but I do like John Varvatos’ spring collection. I’ve seen similar pieces before, but the details draw me in. I love the cable knit cardigan with toggles and how the sleeves of the blazers are dual toned. I’ve also noticed that more and more designers are heading in the direction of Ann Demeulemeester and Rick Owens with sheer shirts and sweaters. I love what Rick and Ann do with sheer material, but I don’t know how I feel about every other designer now doing this as well.

I’m going to guess so that people will get excited about buying them, and retailers will have a chance to stock them.
