Julia and Ben Spring 2009

Spring 2009 is the sec­ond col­lec­tion from new­com­ers Julia and Ben.  Julia and Ben is based out of Ger­many and was founded in 2007 after a chance meet­ing of the two design­ers at Berlin’s ESMOD fash­ion school.  Pulling inspi­ra­tion from every­day life and know­ing no bound­aries, this duo has pro­duced a beau­ti­ful relaxed col­lec­tion of pieces with a soft color palette per­fect for not only the spring sea­son, but any lifestyle.

I don’t know about you, but view­ing this col­lec­tion puts me in a mood to shop.  The indi­vid­ual pieces are just so inspir­ing that you want to sift through your closet, pull out pieces to rein­vent with the help of a shop­ping trip for the season’s lat­est.  Julia and Ben, you had me at the under­stated, but very nec­es­sary white shirt.  The future is look­ing bright indeed.
