After debuting a short film for its fall-winter 2015 campaign, Kenzo returns with a new project for fall-winter 2016. This time around, the French fashion brand connects with Carrie Brownstein, who acts as director for the short, The Realest Real. A collission of reality and the hyperreal come together for an outing that features actors Mahershala Ali, Natasha Lyonne and Laura Harrier.

The film debuts September 12, 2016, to celebrate New York Fashion Week. Featured predominantly throughout the film, Ali dons menswear standouts from Kenzo creative directors, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon’ current collection for the label. Bold suiting and sportswear are front and center for the occasion.
