Three’s Company–Slated to receive their due respect, London Fashion Week kicks off this June, immediately following fashion weeks in Milan and Paris with menswear taking center stage. Championing alumni talent, the London College of Fashion Presents Emerging Talent at London Collections: Men. Hitting the catwalk are Asger Juel Larsen, Matteo Molinari and Domingo Rodriguez, showcasing their spring/summer 2013 collections. In addition, accessories designer Oliver Ruuger will have an installation. The alumni show on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Royal Society of Arts, will see i-D fashion editor Elgar Johnson at the helm of styling.

Lucid Disorder–Jens Stoltze photographs Asger Juel Larsen’s new fall/winter 2012 lookbook, capturing models Sophus Abraham (2pm), Mounier Baraki (Unique) and Linus Von Rosenauer. Opting for a more tailored look than usual, the London-based designer looks East for inspiration, envisioning a new uniform for his man. Cast in navy, black and red, winter wools provide great warmth. Cut oversize and featuring details like layered lapels, outerwear, ranging from the peacoat to overcoat make a sharp appearance. Meanwhile, bringing the youthful vigor one has come to expect from Larsen, lightweight tops are lengthened and furnished with askew zippers. / Assistance by Katja Kolle and Melissa Bech Madsen.

We Live–From high-waist jersey shorts to long overcoats, Asger Juel Larsen’s preview of his spring 2012 collection packs a punch with street cred written all over. The young and flavorful lineup once again sees the UK-based designer’s play on proportion, juxtaposed with a love of prints.

Uncle Sam–Honing in on Civil War-era America, Asger Juel Larsen creates a perverse Americana mode for the upcoming fall season. Armed with a Gothic vision and a state coming apart at the seams, the new collection delivers fashions with a dark humor. From structured outerwear and ready-to-layer separates to spiked chaps, Larsen embarks on an intriguing tale of self-discovery.

Asger Juel Larsen releases a preview of his upcoming fall 2011 collection entitled Uncle Sam. Looking to the United States of the 1860’s, a modern wardrobe is born from the unraveling seams of a nation at crisis. Embracing the tense mood, black and gray dress Larsen’s Gothic America.
