Subscribing to an anything goes mentality, the latest collection from Bless is a self-described “real cozy winter wear solution with a particular large variety of jackets.” Embracing a wide encompassing color palette, fall’s collection “Whatwasitagain” layers the casual fixings of an eclectic wardrobe that exhibits style and quirk. From shoulder pads to cape jackets and draped scarves, Bless stands apart in a fashion that is both organic and above all lively.

Bless may adopt a simpler silhouette this season, but that does not detract from their signature quirk. Taking part in a balancing act, Bless plays with old and new, offering garments from previous seasons alongside fun hybrids of traditional pieces. In this eccentric world, an oversize tee is reinvented as a byproduct of marriage with a blazer, while elongated button downs take a new stride with incorporated scarves. Whether it is a loose pair of trousers or a relaxed jacket, one thing is for certain–Bless knows how to keep ideas fresh.

In collaboration with OXBOW, Bless has worked to recreate their iconic jacquard sweater. Pulling from OXBOW’s archives, Bless has reinterpreted three new skolpens: the 3D-Skolpen, Black & White Mountain-Skolpen and Material Mix-Skolpen. As its name indicates, the 3D-Skolpen has a 3D effect that can be seen when wearing red-green glasses. Meanwhile, the Black & White Mountain-Skolpen features a mountain image, while the Material Mix-Skolpen contains different layers and segments that can be rearranged to suit the personal style of its wearer. The collection of sweaters will be available for purchase this fall season at Bless and Oxbow retailers.

Similiar to meeting an intriguing individual, the latest collection from Bless leaves a lasting impression. Bless’ fall collection radiates with a sense of personal charm that is highly addictive. Although it appears chaotic with the inclusion of various colors and materials, the collection’s pieces co-exist in a quirky balance that works. Perhaps, the key to the harmonious collection is found in the way that the individual pieces are story prone and share a worn-in quality. If style is a component of an individual’s identity, then surely the Bless man or woman is likely to be of interest and worthy of engagement.
