Knitwear Fever–Reconnecting with Chauncey once more, David Sdika photographs Tim Meiresone for the Brussels-based label’s spring 2012 lookbook. Never eccentric but always modern in designs, Chauncey continues to harvest a contemporary wardrobe of elegant staples for the 21st century gentleman. As a former knitwear designer at Hermès, Salvatore Ferragamo and Jean-Paul Gaultier, Nathalie Bouhana delivers a strong lineup of high quality jumpers, cardigans and blazers in rich fabrications with precise tailoring.

David Sdika photographs Chauncey’s latest lookbook featuring Christophe Mc Pherson and Tom Tack. Bringing proportions a step closer to fitted after a season of ultra-relaxed silhouettes, Chauncey keeps the new lineup simple, emphasizing their signature knitwear with boat and roll necks. Meanwhile, the slouchy shape of knits coincides nicely with a range of knit trousers that make an impact with dropped crotch lines.

After four seasons, Chauncey gives their seasonal lookbook a new spirit with the inclusion of Brazilian model Douglas Neitzke. Inspired by René Clément’s 1960s film Plein Soleil, spring’s collection took shape around a relaxed silhouette with a subtle nautical flair. From clean lines to loosely slung fits, Chauncey’s minimalist wardrobe gets an update with a laid-back offering of knits, polos and trousers.

Chauncey’s “one look” gets a simple fall update with solid knits, subtle darting and varsity collars fleshed out in earthy tones. Meanwhile, a modest pair of pants evokes a certain chaos with a silhouette that begins sleek and ends with a peculiar bagginess. Fit for the man with a modern appeal and penchant for timeless quality, the always stylish Chauncey continues their dedication to craftsmanship.

A soft muted color palette and short sleeved knits define this season’s collection from Chauncey designer Nathalie Bouhana. Finding strength in a subtle evolution of menswear essentials, Bouhana delivers another range that values the comfort of its wearer over a calculated push to disrupt the standards.

Humble and honest, Brussels based designer Nathalie Bouhana serves up another helping of fine knitwear for the upcoming fall season. Simple and understated, Chauncey is about quality and workmanship. Using the best materials and excellent craftmanship, Bouchana designs ready-to-wear knits that are meant to easily function in any wardrobe. From one season to the next, as reinforced by the use of the same model, Chauncey is a developing story of organic progression.
