We Belong to the Sea–Reinventing their image once again, Danish pop sensation AQUA looks to designer Christian Westphal for a show-stopping fashion makeover for their latest world tour, Megalomania. Balancing glamor and a post-apocalyptic edge, the new and improved foursome is ready to conquer the world with their infectious beats.

Gravity Be My Friend–Christian Westphal turns to texture as the driving force for his spring 2012 collection. Thoroughly modern, Westphal embraces today’s silhouettes, giving them another lease on life with fantastic prints and fabrications. From a bright yellow nylon and polka dots that appear to pop from an intricate tapestry, the new lineup takes fine form with a sophisticated bohemian feat. Dressed in long coats, relaxed trousers and intriguing shirting, the man of Westphal’s creations marries contemporary ideas to a fashion-forward state of mind for a range that delights. / Vote for Christian Westphal for the Max Factor New Talent Award 2012 at http://www.newtalentaward.dk/

Quirks and structure battle it out in Christian Westphal’s spring 2011 collection. Picking up subtle inspirations from the wild west of the nineteenth century or Sergio Leone’s The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Westphal mixes business and pleasure for an eclectic range of intriguing cuts. Inspired by the Renaissance heroes of Tizian and El Greco, Christian Westphal walks a tight line for the fall season. Balancing subdued glamor with a detail-oriented perspective, Westphal explores the idea of refined urban wear. With “bottle green optimism, turquoise crispiness and navy blue classicism” as an accent, a monochromatic color palette dresses the collection’s arsenal of armor-worthy suiting. Fitted or oversize and cinched, Westphal does well by the male form, expanding the range from relaxed trousers to casual ripped denim. All encompassing, fall’s collection allows its wearer to play it safe or go a little more adventurous with chic new silhouettes.

Danish designer Christian Westphal will be showing his collection for the first time in Tokyo during October’s Japan Fashion Week. The upcoming collection is inspired by the German children’s book, The Shockheaded Peter. It’s far too early to give too much away, but the quirky collection does have a fun time exploring a child’s imagination, where nightmares are a reality and shapes know no bounds.
