The Enter­prise–Daniel Palillo chan­nels his life ener­gies into his lat­est col­lec­tion, look­ing as always to his cur­rent fas­ci­na­tions to expand an evolv­ing vision. Incor­po­rat­ing the sub­ject of Amer­i­can sports into this season’s nar­ra­tive, Palillo finds the per­fect com­pan­ion for his sig­na­ture take on explo­sive sil­hou­ettes. Mix­ing in var­ied ref­er­ences, rang­ing from the forests of Fin­land to comic book tales, the col­lec­tion eas­ily finds its voice with another larger than life cul­ti­va­tion of in your face fash­ion. Burst­ing forth with strong graph­ics and fab­ri­ca­tions that include vinyl, the range mar­ries a cer­tain eccen­tric­ity to a baggy take on streetwear.

Never Mind–Daniel Palillo looks to Amer­i­can cul­ture, expe­ri­enced first-​​hand, to cre­ate his lat­est col­lec­tion, enti­tled Never Mind. Tak­ing his sig­na­ture off-​​the-​​cuff style and mix­ing it with images of child­hood and every­day events, Palillo cre­ates a new sea­son of whimsy. From soc­cer games to sacred Sun­days, large pro­por­tions are embell­ished and pulled in sev­eral direc­tions for a bold show­ing that is out of this world.

Daniel Palillo takes his black and white ensem­bles on a wild walk for the fall sea­son with an empha­sis on shape. Embrac­ing the eccen­tric for his lat­est col­lec­tion enti­tled Talk­ing Heads, no out­fit is com­plete with­out an atten­tion to mon­strous details. From horns and skele­tons to reveal­ing struc­tures, Palillo stays well inside his aes­thetic with a com­fort­able array of out­landish designs.

Adding to his favorite go to col­ors of black and white, Daniel Palillo breaks out the pas­tels for the spring sea­son. In a game of Night­mares & Cow­boys or sim­ply dark and light, Palillo spruces up the sea­son with his sig­na­ture over­size pro­por­tions paired with semi-​​fitted trousers. Rounded out with geo­met­ric prints of var­ied col­ors, Daniel Palillo rep­re­sents the dar­ing man of many moods.

Daniel Palillo’s enor­mous sil­hou­ettes shrink for the fall sea­son as the designer focuses in on shape and form. Giv­ing the mono­chro­matic col­lec­tion dimen­sion with raised ele­ments, the range is just as quirky as ever, but eases up on the dom­i­nant graph­ics of past sea­sons. Alto­gether mix­ing and match­ing pro­por­tions of vary­ing sizes, while throw­ing in his mor­bid sense of humor, Daniel Palillo arrives at another col­lec­tion that shows the always entic­ing pro­gres­sion of his own per­sonal style.

Spring 2010 | Daniel Palillo — “Renaissance”

For his fall col­lec­tion, designer Daniel Palillo gave color a try, but why fix some­thing that is not bro­ken? This sea­son, Palillo returns to his two favorite col­ors – black and white. Although his color selec­tions may be safe, his designs are not. Over­size as always, Palillo deliv­ers another out­landish col­lec­tion with the cre­ative type in mind. Graph­i­cally, the col­lec­tion dishes Palillo’s sig­na­ture mor­bid prints, while mak­ing room for larger than life polka dots. How­ever, in typ­i­cal Palillo fash­ion, these are no ordi­nary polka dots, but dis­torted in a fun fash­ion – most like the sense of humor that is found in his collections.
