Peace of Seam–North African influences come full circle as Roch Barbot steps out for the spring/summer 2012 campaign of Filippa K. Captured against a serene blue background, Roch is dressed in neutrals, making for a season that comes forth with the ease of a second skin.

Practical Age–Roch Barbot steps into Filippa K’s spring/summer 2012 collection. Creating a wardrobe for the modern nomad with garments, both tailored and deconstructed, a neutral color palette plays host to the season. Accented with olive-green, brown and blue, technical fabrics are cut for an array of pieces that span the spectrum, from casual to formal. Boasting classics like the light-weight trench or a slouchy cardigan, Filippa K delivers another ideal season.

Kommanding Minimalist–With minimalism ever so prominent, the importance of tailoring and a sharp silhouette remain to be the core fundamentals at Filippa K. The elegant lines of contemporary suiting and the functionality of heavy duty outerwear collectively evoke a modern flair for the 21st century gentlemen. From color blocked knits to masculine peacoats, the Filippa K man maintains a balance between classic and contemporary sportswear with a commanding style. / Modeled by Mathias Holst of Success.
Separate Ways–For the fall 2011 season, Filippa K decided to showcase menswear and womenswear separately. Enlisting Success models, Arthur Devalbray, Axel Gillot and others came out for an intimate showing, focused on precise tailoring, a sleek silhouette and a dark color palette. Ready for the new season, scoop-neck sweaters come layered with dark shirting for a short lesson in casual layering.

Filippa K Stripped–Clément Chabernaud snags the latest leading role for Filippa K’s upcoming fall 2011 camapign. Leading up to the release, Clément stars in a charming short film for the Swedish label.

Filippa K revisits their spring collection with a new lookbook featuring this season’s campaign star Vincent Lacrocq: “Reinterpreting the early 90′s, Filippa K attempts to create a new minimalism with their spring range. Breaking from the prim and proper, the Swedish label embraces wrinkled garments for a casual mood. With influences as diverse as the military and the iconic artist David Hockney, Filippa K mixes prints, large and small with smart staples for an accessible spring outing.”
