
Color Awakening–George Bezhanishvili presents his fall 2011 menswear collection in lookbook form, photographed by Sia Kermani, with lengthened silhouettes and a use of bold color. Entitled Oda, Benjamin Steiner wears ensembles from the collection that takes its inspiration from artists such as Girodet and various locales. Well-cultured influences reveal themselves in Persian prints and heavy metal accessories, among other things.

The University of Applied Arts Vienna graduate entitled his collection Oda, taking inspiration from artists such as Girodet and various Oriental locales. Ethnic influences reveal themselves in Persian prints and heavy metal accessories among other things.

George Bezhanishvili is a final year student at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Previously under the instruction of Veronique Branquinho, Bezhanishvili is now a pupil of Bernhard Willhelm. His latest collection entitled “JHERONYMUS” was recently photographed by Andreas Waldschuetz. Inspired by images of biblical proportions, Bezhanishvili was drawn to nude figures, fruits, birds and generally nature for his fall collection. Crafting the modern robe, his masculine man is trapped in a world of dreams and nightmares, only intensified by an “erotic derangement that turns us all into voyeurs, a place filled with the intoxicating air of Liberty…”
