this season georgy baratashvili goes futuristic, inspired by space suits and pilot uniforms (eg. the bomber jacket, one of his favourite pieces) though keeping some elements from his signature dance inspired style such as leg warmers and arm warmers … teaming up with photographer ana barreira, georgy delivers a strong imagery of his new & very edgy collection featuring d1 model daniel windfeldt …

Accompanying an interview with Georgy Baratashvili for the debut issue of ENOUGH, Francisco Lachowski wears select pieces from the Russian designer’s current collection. Styled by Luca Stefanelli, Francisco complements Baratashvili’s romantic draping with a gentle sensitivity captured by photographer Domenico Cennamo.

Russian designer Georgy Baratashvili brings an interesting perspective to the fashion conscious with his latest collection for spring. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, the designer fuses a highly celebrated education in fashion with his background as a dancer. With a heightened awareness of movement and emotion, Baratashvili fearlessly drapes jersey intricately around an athletic foundation. Here, a traditional sense of masculinity meets a soft romantic approach. Wispy, barely there tops are grounded by reformed trousers. The results are the comfort of the gym blended with a fashion-forward focus that challenges convention.
