This week sees the launch of the second part of Grn Apple Tree’s “Hypocrisy” collection. The second of a three part collection is highlighted by the use of American cotton. Grn Apple Tree’s creator and designer, Luis Antonio strives to produce everything locally, because it “keeps jobs and money in the hands of the economy that supports” them.
If you are out of the loop and need a refresher course, visit the previous post to see part one and learn more about the collection. Or visit Grn Apple Tree to see the first two parts of “Hypocrisy” in its entirety. The third and final installment of “Hypocrisy” drops next month.
| The Installment Plan
GRN Apple Tree is playing the game of fashion differently. Desiring more excitement and anticipation for their line, they have adapted a sales strategy that sets them apart from their peers. Instead of the usual seasonal collections, they release each season in installments. The first part of their new spring collection hits stores this month, with the other two parts being delivered in February and March. This season’s collection was inspired by current times. Citing issues of race, corruption, greed, torture, and the loss of privacy, GRN Apple Tree’s latest collection is inspired by “the oppression of the human spirit that is being swallowed by the corporate machine.” Pictures from GRN Apple Tree
